The Head of School is Poppy Rees. Our administrative associate is Micki Paddock. Besides being the person at the desk, Micki can answer most questions or advise whom you should talk to. There are four home center teachers: Diane Hare, Gerry Loney, Kimberly Waterman, and Sharon Pinsonneault. Any question about your child should be brought to the student's home center teacher. Cynthia Clarke is our fifth teacher.

Board

The Board is responsible for fund raising, enrollment, maintenance of buildings and grounds, publicity and hiring the head of school. The Board, in concert with the Staff, does long-range planning for the future of the School. The Board and the Staff create the annual School budget. The Board accepts suggestions, requests and issues raised by parents and community members. The Board of Directors is made up of 8-11 members drawn from the staff, parents and community. Current Board members are Harry Chaucer, Bobbi Loney, Gerry Loney, Sarah Bourne, Grace McGrath, Joe McVeigh, Dick Nessen, Steve Paddock, Lance Waterman, and Kim Walker.

The Board meets the second Thursday of each month. Decisions of the Board are reached by consensus. New members are invited by the sitting Board. Bridge School is 501c (3) non-profit organization.

Volunteers

Bridge School has an active and committed group of parent volunteers, who teach Explorations and Arts courses, work with classes on a daily or weekly basis and also substitute for teachers. Among the most frequent volunteers in working with students on a regular basis are: J'Amy Allen, Lissy Heminway, Kim Moyer, Howard Widelitz, Dennis Woos, and Alyson Young.
