We had a wonderful celebration for Kathy Nessen on November 20th, attended by current students and parents as well as many alumni and alumni parents, as well as other friends and relatives of Kathy. Heartwarming speeches were given and the students presented Kathy with a kickball box painted with their good wishes and which will be out on the arcade, available for games. The “Kathy Nessen Kickball Field -for her love of children and play” was dedicated with a plaque soon to be put up. The highlight of the event was the dramatic presentation of “The Billy Goats Gruff,” in which many alumni reprised their roles as one of the billy goats or trolls.
